Di Octyl Adipate (DOA) is a light-colored, highly efficient adipates plasticizer. It is flexible at low temperatures and has good electrical properties.

It is a cold-resistant plasticizer for Polyvinyl Chloride (PV), Chloroethylene co-polymer, Polystyrene, Nitrocellulose, Ethyl cellulose and Synthetic rubber
* Its application is often in combination with main plasticizers such as DOP, DBP etc. for making cold-resistant agricultural plastic thin film, packing membrane for freezing food, cable, coating, leatherette, sheet materials and water pipes in the open air etc.​
