CAS No. 102-06-7
It gives very long scorch time and relatively slow full cure. It cause slight discoloration and cannot be used in light coloured articles, except as an activator. When it is used on its own, the resistance of the vulcanization to hot air and oxygen is poor. Accelerators of the mercapto types are strongly activated by this product. It is used in moulding large NR based technical goods where slow cure is required.
